the morning news and it will continue as a funeral procession makes its way to san jose. in the meantime we are learning now information about the man who shot and skilled the two. jeremy was moving out of his house when detectives arrived at his door. he just lost his job at a coffee shop and was getting ready to move. the shooting took place outside of his home. >>> a patient became allstateed and start -- agitated and started a fire, here is more with tara moriarty. >> reporter: a person set a small fire and you can imagine there were some frayed nerves in the emergency room. a patient became disgruntled and barricaded himself inside a small room. a police negotiator talked the man with in to surrender within two hours. >> i heard all of the commotion, 25 squad cars flying by and i see a number of police officers running around the hospital with their firearms out. >> the fire was confined to one room and caused minimal damage. nobody was injured in the standoff. he will now undergo a mental evaluation. tara moriarty ktvu channel 2 morning news. >>> there was another incident. this one i

'll let you know. looking at the san jose commute northbound 280 traffic very light there. right through downtown san jose. 4:37 let's go back to steve. >> thank you, sir. we have a lot of high clouds. low clouds. another little weak system coming through. it will send in mostly sunny, partly cloudy skies today. there is another system coming in behind that. temperatures back off a little bit. the high pressure system i think it's strong enough to give us a decent day but a cooler week ahead as the stronger system toward the end of the week. you can see we start off partly cloudy skies. i think we will end upmostly sunny. 40s and 50s on the temps. a couple upper 30s there. i guess so. that's what it says in novato scene napa. mainly 40s and 50s. not much to this system expect a lot of high clouds. patchy low clouds coming in parts of the bay. 50s, 60s, and also 70s. antioch 72. a little bit cooler coast and bay. kind of a lot of high clouds. low clouds through most of the week. a stronger system will move in. increasing clouds thursday and friday. weekend looks cloudy to mostly cloudy. >

-speed chase through the south bay, we have exclusive video near the exit in san jose. around 10:00 last night santa clara sheriff's deputies sprayed avail way -- a railway and when sheriff's deputies approached them they took off in a honda. a check of the license plate revilled they were stolen. the pursuit went on i 85 and 101 and speeds reached 185 miles per hour. >> there were officers involved in the pursuit but it ended safely for everybody. >> the suspects pulled over and they found drug paraphernalia and spray paints. >>> this is the third officers involved shooting this month. tara moriarty is on the road in the city's willow glenn neighborhood and investigators say a police officer shot and wounded a suspected car thief after she tried to run him over in a car. >> the officer felt in danger, he felt in fear for his life and again he did what he had to do and discharged his firearm. >> now police say the woman driver was shot at least once and is expected to survive, one police officer suffered minor injuries in the incident and it is not clear how he was hurt this was the third poli

and if you are driving out onto the road very soon let's start in san jose. northbound 280 as you hit highway 17, that traffic looks good and we had an earlier hit- and-run which has been cleared up. traffic is moving along well on interstate 880 and the traffic is moving along and somehow it is gone. 1. >> 1 is and 280, that looks very nice. >> sal, we have baseball and it is amazing how many people were glowed to this -- glued to this. so if you are headed to the dominican republic, it looks cloudy. westerly breeze, not only high clouds but low clouds so bundle up that system is approaching the one understanding in front of and there are already low clouds being pushed in advance of it. it does not take much, raining on tuesday, we will have to squeeze out the moisture here so what looked to be promised, we can take any rain lingering and 40s and 50s on the temperatures, clear to cold not too bad and we have increasing clouds later and still we have a north wind with a mind afternoon near the coast and we'll see temperatures mainly in the lower 60s and warmer near the coast with some of tha
